Agent: Paul Pogba Will Reman At Juventus

Jun 30, 2014 8:07 PM

Paul Pogba has been linked to a move away from Juventus with Real Madrid, Paris Saint-German and Manchester City among the clubs interested in signing the 21-year-old French international.

Manchester United allowed Pogba to leave in 2012 for Juve.

"We have decided not to speak of the transfer market with regards to Paul until after the World Cup," agent Mino Raiola told Italian TV station Rai Sport.

"But I can calmly say that his future will still be at Juventus, where he feels very happy."

Barça To Ask Alexis Sánchez To Leave With Preference For Liverpool

Jun 30, 2014 7:58 PM

Barcelona will reportedly ask Alexis Sánchez to agree upon a transfer away from the club with their preference being he go to Liverpool as part of a deal for Luis Suárez.

Barça believes Sánchez is a spare part for their roster despite his tremendous quality and value.

According to Graham Hunter, Suárez’s public apology has more to do with appeasing Barcelona’s backroom staff than actual remorse from the striker.

“Sorry Liverpool fans but that ‘apology’ from Suárez stinks of what Barça demanded of him in order to bid/sign. It’s on the move.”

Arsenal, Manchester United and Juventus are also interested in Sánchez.

Icardi is a 21-year-old forward out of Argentina, while Handanovič is a 29-year-old keeper from Slovenia.

United Was Offered James Rodríguez For £5M In 2010

Jun 29, 2014 9:37 PM

Manchester United was offered James Rodríguez for £5 million as a teenager, but Sir Alex Ferguson instead decided to invest £7.4 million on Bebé.

Ferguson was close to securing Javier Hernández from Guadalajara at the time, but the agents attempting to bring Rodríguez to Europe received no response from United.

Rodríguez moved from Argentina to Portugal when he signed for Porto in 2010 for £4m, with 30% of the player’s economic rights retained by third parties, and was part of André Villas-Boas’s unbeaten team who claimed the domestic double and Europa League that season.

United was again interested in the January window of 2013.

Kaka To Orlando City Finally Agreed Upon

Jun 29, 2014 9:34 PM

A deal for Kaka to leave A.C. Milan for Orlando City has finally been reached.

Kaka will begin playing for Orlando City at the beginning of the 15-16 season, while he goes to Sao Paulo for the coming season.

"After 60 days of negotiations we have reached an agreement, but there isn't anything formal yet," Sao Paulo vice president Ataide Gil Guerreiro said.

"There are steps to be taken but when it comes to values, there is an agreement between all parties involved – Milan, MLS, Orlando, Kaka and Sao Paulo.

"He will sign a contract with the MLS. Clubs can choose three designated players, Orlando choose Kaka.

"He will undergo a medical and will join Orlando, then he will be loaned to Sao Paulo for six months until December 31.

"Not only is Kaka excited, but he is also physically peaking."

Liverpool Agrees To £25M Transfer With Southampton For Adam Lallana

Jun 28, 2014 8:14 PM

Liverpool's offer of £25 million to Southampton for Adam Lallana has been accepted.

Liverpool is also prepared to improve their attacking options for next season by making an offer for Benfica’s highly-rated Serbia international, Lazar Markovic, who has a £20m release clause, and the Belgium international forward Divock Origi.

The midfielder travelled to Merseyside on Friday for a medical and to finalize personal terms. He had been linked with a reunion with former Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham Hotspur but the boyhood Evertonian’s preference has always been for a move to Liverpool.

James Rodríguez: It'd Be A Dream To Play In Spain

Jun 28, 2014 8:10 PM

James Rodríguez is having a remarkable World Cup and could be on the move again one year after his €45 million transfer from Porto to AS Monaco.

“It’d be a dream to play in Spain, one of the best leagues in the world,” said James after Colombia's 2-0 win in the Round of 16 over Uruguay.

"I prefer Real Madrid to Barcelona," said James.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are presumably the only two teams in Spain that could afford a move for James. Atlético Madrid could theoretically reinvest some of their funds from the Diego Costa sale to Chelsea.

Manchester United and Liverpool were linked to James before Monaco outbid both clubs.

Chelsea Preparing £60M Bid To Juventus For Paul Pogba

Jun 28, 2014 7:44 PM

Chelsea is preparing a £60 million bid to Juventus for Paul Pogba.

With Cesc Fabregas earmarked for the No.10 playmaker role, José Mourinho wants Pogba to be the driving force from a deeper position.

Goal understands that Juventus are determined to keep hold of their prize asset but could be tempted into a sale were they to receive an offer that meets their £60 million-plus valuation.

Pogba's current deal has two years to run and Giuseppe Marotta, the general manager of the Serie A club, said last month: "We intend to extend Pogba's contract and we have already spoken with his agent. Paul is a smart guy and this is the perfect place for him to improve further. You cannot imagine him leaving Juventus."
